nice XL! i bought one of the exact same this summer, and the only pressing part needed is also an exhaust system. did you have any luck finding a source?
also, did you find a source for a 23" tire replacement for the front?
@Korb - Thanks. For the exhaust I ended up making one out of a tractor muffler and a piece of flex exhaust pipe. It looks and works okay but is a bit loud. I did find a source in the UK for replacement parts but wasn't prepared to spend $400 just for the exhaust system.
Have fun with your new bike. I know you like ebay, and I am sure you will find lots of parts there!
ReplyDeleteCould also join the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. Might get help there.
ReplyDeleteLance - eBay has been getting a workout already. I expect it will be my primary source.
ReplyDeleteBikerted - There are quite a number of good groups, forums, etc. out there thanks to the internet. I'll add them to the list. Thanks.
If I did I would send it to you. Congratulations on the new bike.
ReplyDeleteThanks Danny.
