The Tsunami Harley

Blogged about here and here, the 2004 Night Train that crossed the Pacific in a storage container after being washed away by the Japanese tsunami in 2010 now is on display at the HD museum.
It’s nice to see it has a home as a fitting memorial to the more than 15,000 Japanese who lost their lives, and the countless thousands of others who lost everything, in that terrible tragedy.

  1. That is pretty damned cool for a tribute.

  2. It amazes me how these devastating things happen and just roll into the past to be forgotten. Remembrance is a vital thing. Thanks for posting that.

  3. Dear Canajun:

This Harley has become a symbol of defiance... of endurance... and of commitment. It belongs in a museum, and in the hearts of riders who understand what each of these rlements mean to the individual, and to a people collectively.

    Fondest regards,
